
Tony Firenzi
Anthony (Tony) Firenzi is Director of Strategic Affairs for Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) and a licensed Professional Engineer. In this role, he leads the agency’s strategic initiatives, legislative affairs, and long-range planning.
Tony joined PCWA in 2003 and has held a range of engineering and leadership roles. During his tenure, he has overseen more than $250 million in infrastructure projects and helped shape the agency’s water supply planning and regional partnerships.
Most recently, he led PCWA’s participation in renewing the Sacramento Water Forum Agreement, a landmark regional collaboration guiding water management in the American River.
Tony holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in River Engineering from Colorado State University and previously spent five years consulting on river restoration projects and teaching across the United States.
