Patrick Hume

Elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2022, Pat represents District 5, including the cities of Elk Grove, Galt, Isleton and Rancho Cordova, along with rural farming areas and communities in the southern portion of Sacramento County and the Delta. He came into office in the flood of ’23 and has been working diligently on water issues since.

Pat serves on numerous regional boards with oversight of water policy including most notably the Delta Protection Commission, Lower American River Conservancy Program Advisory Committee, Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (SAFCA), Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD), Sacramento Central Groundwater Authority, Sacramento County Water Agency, and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy.

Pat and his wife Lisa are active in the community, enjoy traveling and spending time with their dog, Diego. Pat volunteers his time as an auctioneer for many local non-profits as a way of helping others do their good work.
