Mary-Ann Warmerdam

Mary-Ann has worked on agricultural, natural resource and rural policy issues, representing both public and private sector entities. She re-joined RCRC to lead their Government Affairs Team in 2021. Prior to that, she was with the Office of State Controller Betty Yee as Deputy, Environmental Policy. Before joining the Controller’s Office, she served as Senior Advocate, Natural Resources and Water, for RCRC. She also spent several years as U.S.  Regulatory  Lead with the Clorox Company working with key state and federal agencies on chemical management, pesticide, water quality and related  environmental issues. In addition to serving two Governors as the Director of California Department of Pesticide Regulation in the early 2000’s, Mary-Ann was General Manager of Yolo County’s Flood Control and Water Conservation District; Director of California Farm Bureau Federation’s Public Affairs; and PG&E’s State Affairs Office. She has a MBA and a BS, summa cum laude, from CSU California; completed the California Agricultural Leadership Program and the Kennedy School of Government’s Executive Certification Program. She serves on the Yolo Land Trust.
