Jolene Guerrero

Jolene Guerrero is a Deputy Director for Los Angeles County Public Works, overseeing the Water Resources core service area. A licensed civil engineer with more than 30 years of experience across the public and private sectors, Ms. Guerrero has held senior leadership rolesoverseeing flood control infrastructure, water capture systems, and stormwater qualityprogramsthat protect communities and support regional water resilience.

In her current role, Ms. Guerrero is responsible for the planning, operation, and maintenance of stormwater, flood control, and potable water infrastructure within the Los Angeles County Flood Control and Waterworks Districts. She leads the implementation of integrated water resource management strategies that advance resilience, sustainability, and long-term water reliability, while aligning capital investments, operations, and policy with County priorities to ensure all residents have access to safe, clean, and reliable water resources.

Ms. Guerrero holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University.
