
Aaron Fukuda
Aaron Fukuda was born, raised, and currently lives in Hanford, California. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2000. Mr. Fukuda furthered his education and earned a Master of Public Administration with Honors from California State University, Fresno. He is a registered Professional Engineer in California.
Mr. Fukuda began his career with the Tulare Irrigation District in 2006 as the District Engineer and was promoted to General Manager in 2018. In January 2026, Mr. Fukuda was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Tulare Irrigation District and the Mid-Kaweah Groundwater Sustainability Agency. As CEO, he oversees daily operations, promotes conjunctive water use, coordinates regional water efforts, and ensures regulatory compliance. He also administers and implements the MKGSA Groundwater Sustainability Plan, leading efforts to achieve groundwater sustainability by 2040.
